What kind of themed environments do you create?
The sky is the limit! We can create whatever you can imagine. Imagineering is simply not letting fear stop you from being creative.
We have done all types of interior church designs for children, youth and pre-school ministries. The idea is to create an environment that kids will run to and parents will follow. Here are just a few examples: Under the Sea, Safari, Train Depot, Aviation, City Life,
Sports, Adventure, BeeHive, Forest, GopherWood Forest, Space, Beach, Honey I Shrunk Kidz Church, Finding Jonah, The Ark,
Toonville, Kidtropolis, Western, Pirates (Capt. Wrongway), Navigators, Barnyard, In The Beginning, etc.
We also create game-stations, arcades, restaurants, gyms, hip youth rooms, even themed sanctuaries. Stage designs, teaching props, etc. Again, the sky is the limit!
What do themed environments consist of?
Themed environments can be 3D props, 2D props, wall murals, airbrush designs, animated props, custom features such as lighting, sound effects, hazers, fog machines, game stations, flat panel tv’s, information stations, spiral tube slides, and complete interior playground areas. We can even create exterior playground themed environments. Any one of these environments will make people say WOW!
A variety of quality materials are used depending on the environment and also depending on the purpose of the environment.
Do you have to come to our church to see what needs to be created?
In most cases we do not have to come to your facility in order to get the process started. We ask that you give us the overall dimensions of the room, hall, etc. including ceiling heights and door openings. We then request that you take photos of each wall and room with dimensions and send to us through e-mail. This will give us a general idea to start the Imagination process for each wall element and overall theme. Once we have agreed on a design and a contract has been signed, we will send a team for the overall scope of the project and finalize detailed measurements before production. We then return to our shop and begin the Creation process. Once creation is complete, we send our team for the Installation process. Our artists and painters will then complete the wall murals for the design elements that have been installed.
Once you have contacted our office(1st step) we will discuss your church’s overall vision for the area and ideas you already have. We will then need to know your budget for the project so we can stay within those boundaries while (2nd step) sketching the initial design. The design process usually runs around $700.00 for the sketches and overall plan. Tiny Town Studios, LLC. Holds the rights to all drawings and designs. The design and drawings can be purchased for an additional cost if you desire to do the project yourself.
How much do themed environments cost?
Cost can only be calculated by the size of the project and also the amount of design elements involved. It would be impossible for us to have a cost breakdown on each item since most items are custom created.
We have completed environments from as low as $750.00 and as high as $380,000.00 with everything in between.
Again, start big, start small, just start somewhere!
We believe that if God gives you the vision He will provide the provision!
How long does it take to create an environment?
Depending on the size of project, roughly allow 2-6 months from start to finish.
Tiny Town Studios reserves the right to give you a quality job over a deadline timetable. We will do our very best to meet your needs when it comes to a deadline. It is important to get on our calendar as soon as possible with your deposit.
Will we have to move out of the space during the installation?
Generally we would love to have an open space to work with but we know sometimes it is not possible. This does affect the price a little if we have to work around a continuous working environment. We do our very best to keep the inconvenience of the installation to a minimum. We also ask for the ability to be able to work during the night to help in this endeavor.
Will a themed environment cause our church to grow?
Yes and No. You thought we would never say that didn’t you? A themed environment is only a tool that enhances and draws people to the church. It becomes the buzz in your area which people will be talking about. So yes, a Tiny Town themed environment will attract new families to your church.
(Fact) The fastest growing churches in America have made an investment into themed environments for their children and youth ministries.
But, we also tell our customers that a themed environment does not replace the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must still have a message when they come into the environment. A themed environment will not keep them, but the Word of God will.
